Off Track

this weekend everything i've been doing has been off track and its making me angry. I've got to get back on top of things and just start off new. New week, new trys.

My life right now

I return to school in a bout a month and a half and my life has been ridiculous since i've been home. This summer i planned on training hard, spending time with friends and family, traveling a bit and getting things ready for school. Well my training is going well but i've been having a tough time since the news of my best friend, and boyfriend, got his mission call to somewhere we all didn't expect. I was so pleased with his decision to serve a mission. The timing is perfect; he will be gone for 2 years preaching the gospel and i will complete my last two years of college. Then when the both of us are done we can begin our life together. Our love is so strong for each other and we are a perfect match . However we were both shaken when he received his mission call to Hartford, CT. I attend and play volleyball for University of Hartford in CT and was hoping that he received a faraway call which would allow me to focus more with him gone. As i read his address of his mission home..its right down the road. And the news that we cannot write was devastating. This challenge that we will face is so much more than we ever expected. He received his call about 3 weeks ago and our attitudes have changed and we are excited and are preparing while we can. There is some reason he was called there and i have to trust that it is a good one. Since Kellen will be gone i am using these next years to work towards a better me. I have some goals i am working towards and your are welcome to follow along as i strive to meet them, if not come back in a couple years and this will be a married couple's blog, but until then its just me; with Kellen updates now and then. So for now this will be full of training reports, progressions, and completions...the boring stuff haha
